Preschool Registration

2025-2026 Preschool Intent to Register

Registration will look a little different this year as we transition to our new student information system, known simply as Q. Because of this transition, we will not be able to open the actual registration until July 2025.

However, starting today, the Intent to Register form for new students is available. Submitting this form indicates your intent to enroll your child in our preschool program for the 2025-2026 school year. Since program attendance is limited, completing the form now can help secure your child’s place.

2024-2025 Preschool Information

Please note: Registration for the 2025-2026 school year for both current and new students will open in July on our new platform, Skyward Q. More information will be available soon!

 

Beginning February 10, 2025, new Preschool and Kindergarten families can complete an Intent to Register form, which will be available on the district website. This form only serves to notify the district of your intent to register for the 2025-2026 school year. Families will still need to complete the official online registration in Q when it opens in July.

Important Dates

January 22nd to February 2nd -  Registration begins for currently enrolled  students 

  • Pre-registration for current preschool families began on January 22nd. All applications received after February 2nd will be placed in the lottery.
  • All current Pleasantdale Preschool students will need to submit the online pre-registration form in Skyward Family Access. In addition to the online pre-registration form, families must submit residency documents to the district office. Updated medical forms are not required. You will not be able to enroll if you have an outstanding balance from the 2023-2024 school year.

February 5th to February 16th -  Registration begins for new students

  • The Pre-Registration form along with residency paperwork (original certified birth certificate and original proofs of residency as detailed on the residency form) can be submitted at the District Office, 7450 S. Wolf Road, Burr Ridge between the dates of February 5th and February 16th. There will be a lottery drawing for placement the week of February 23rd.
  • Families who register after February 16th will be placed based on availability or added to a waitlist. 
  • Physicals dated after September 1, 2023, are required before the first day of school.

 

February 23rd - Lottery 

  • Students currently enrolled in Bright Beginnings who submit their pre-registration between January 22nd and February 2nd, receive priority placement. Preference is not guaranteed due to our Blended Model. 
  • Students are selected by lottery for available spots.
  • Students who are not selected for an available slot will go on a waitlist. 
  • Students placed on the waitlist will be notified by email by February 23rd.

March - Annual Registration

  • District 107 Annual Online (Skyward Family Access) registration for all students

April 1 - Preschool Screening - New Students Only

  • A Preschool Screening is recommended for all Bright Beginnings students. The screening is to secure information regarding each child’s overall development and to determine if an in-person screening is needed. 

May 6 - Invoice #1 is mailed out

June 3 - Installment #1 is due

August 16 - Teacher assignments available

November 1 - Invoice #2 is mailed out

December 20 - Installment #2 is due
