Pleasantdale Elementary School
In 1997, Pleasantdale Elementary School was recognized as one of the best schools in the nation when it received the National Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence in Education. Chicago Magazine ranked Pleasantdale Elementary School in the top 25 suburban schools in 2006. Pleasantdale Middle School
Pleasantdale Middle School typically ranks among the top performers on State of Illinois standardized tests. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, "the school leaped past 45 others to land at No. 43 on the Chicago Sun-Times' annual list of the highest-scoring public middle-grade schools in the state, based on math and reading scores in grades six through eight.
